In the Pack Rats MC ecosystem, prize pools are not permanent fixtures. Once the total DAGA deposits meets the trigger criteria, a countdown timer begins. When the timer expires, a winner is drawn, and the prize pool is closed.
✔ Multiplier Reset: When a pool closes, all participating wallets lose their active staking multiplier related to that pool and must re-enter new prize pools to reactivate boosted staking rewards. ✔ No Permanent Farming: Even OG wallets with multiple NFTs and high multipliers must stay active. Without fresh entries into new pools, their staking multiplier is paused until new entries are made—no base rewards without active play.
🕰️ Idle Pool Risk & "Camping" Strategy
If a prize pool sits idle (i.e., the prize value is not covered by entries), that pool remains open indefinitely. During this period, players who already deposited can continue to benefit from their staking multipliers without having to re-enter a fresh pool.
